Fountain Tire Whitecourt is searching for a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced Service Manager to manage the operations of the service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction.

Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire servicesSetting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activitiesCreating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the techniciansProvide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow upRecommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customersEnsuring completion of shop maintenance and repair workAddressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional mannerAdvising technicians of work that must be completedEnsuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer serviceManaging the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customersMaintaining the cleanliness of the shopOur ideal candidate has/is:
5+ years
of automotive industry experienceAdvanced Knowledge of mechanical services is requiredCommercial vehicle inspection program and out of province inspection certificationsEffective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processesHigh level of integrity and accountabilityA customer service focusAbility to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customersStrong communication, and interpersonal skillsContinuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvementsFlexible, patient, and calm when working with tight schedules
