Our AWIN Advanced Auto Body Centre is looking for a Painter Prepper to join our amazing team!
Job Purpose
Auto Body Painter Preppers work on all types of vehicles that have been in collisions. Responsibilities include straightening and replacing body parts, filling, sanding, and priming vehicles so they can be sent to the painter.
Responsibilities
Repairing and restoring damaged vehicles, thoroughly inspecting the vehicle and planning the repair process.Removes rust from metal and grease and filth from the work surface.Masks and protects parts which are not to be painted or primed.Mixes paint, according to its technical characteristics.Chooses and mixes the primer, to achieve the desired colour.Paints the surfaces, using a spray gun or brush, as required.Following the standard operating procedure of the company.Upholding the quality and standards of the services of the organization.Completing all tasks assigned by the supervising manager.Timely completion of all tasks as per the specified deadline.Coordinating work related functions with co-workers.Working in regulation of the automobile safety norms.Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent.Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence.Clear Driver’s Abstract.Previous experience.Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks.Proven organizational skills.Ability to work in a team and independently.Sound understanding of all automotive functionalities.Personal Attributes
