We are currently recruiting for Financial Services Clerks (Junior – Intermediate) in Edmonton. The Financial Services Clerk / Secretary provides financial, clerical, and administrative support across departments. The role supports financial transactions, records management, correspondence, and office operations.
What We Offer: Salary: $17 – $19.5/hrJob Type: TemporaryWhat You'll Do: Financial & Administrative SupportProcess financial transactions including invoices, payments, expense claims, purchase orders, and reconciliationsMaintain accurate financial records, logs, and supporting documentationAssist with budgeting, tracking expenditures, and preparing financial summariesVerify financial data for accuracy and compliance with policiesClerical & Secretarial SupportProvide administrative and secretarial support including document preparation, filing, scheduling, and correspondenceDraft, format, and proofread letters, reports, presentations, and meeting materialsMaintain calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel or logisticsReceive and respond to internal and external inquiries professionallyRecords, Compliance & SystemsMaintain electronic and paper filing systems in accordance with retention policiesEnsure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive financial and personnel informationSupport audits, reporting requirements, and compliance reviewsUtilize office and financial systems to track, update, and retrieve informationWhat We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, accounting, office administration, or a related field is an asset2- 4 years’ experience in financial clerical and/or secretarial rolesWorking knowledge of financial procedures, bookkeeping principles, and office administrationProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and financial or ERP systemsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to exercise discretion, judgment, and confidentialityOur team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
