Logistics & Transportation Department Assistant – Edmonton

We are currently seeking a full-time Logistics & Transportation Department Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, well-organized, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while supporting logistics and transportation operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Logistics & Transportation Department
  • Coordinate and track transportation schedules, deliveries, and pickups
  • Communicate with clients, drivers, suppliers, and internal team members as required
  • Receive, track, and respond to phone calls, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery schedules
  • Prepare, organize, and file logistics and transportation-related documents
  • Monitor shipment statuses and update internal tracking systems
  • Assist in resolving delivery or transportation-related issues
  • Perform other administrative and office duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Minimum 1 year of office or administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and external partners
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated learning ability, initiative, mature judgment, and responsible work habits
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
