Logistics & Transportation Department Assistant – Edmonton

We are currently seeking a full-time Logistics & Transportation Department Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, well-organized, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while supporting logistics and transportation operations.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Logistics & Transportation Department
- Coordinate and track transportation schedules, deliveries, and pickups
- Communicate with clients, drivers, suppliers, and internal team members as required
- Receive, track, and respond to phone calls, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery schedules
- Prepare, organize, and file logistics and transportation-related documents
- Monitor shipment statuses and update internal tracking systems
- Assist in resolving delivery or transportation-related issues
- Perform other administrative and office duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Grade 12 Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Minimum 1 year of office or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and external partners
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated learning ability, initiative, mature judgment, and responsible work habits
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
- Full-time, permanent position
