- Supporting the Labour Relations team through preparation for daily events and follow up actions (e.g. scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining action lists and reminders, meeting preparation).
- Ensuring timelines are monitored and achieved by multiple stakeholders.
- Assisting the Labour Relations team with onboarding processes by liasing with other departments and craft employees.
- Providing clerical assistance with correspondence and preparation of emails, letters, and documents as well as electronic and manual filing of documents.
- Providing data entry support.
- Verifying documents with various provincial authorities.
- Assisting with other general administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- 0-2 or more years of administrative experience, preferably in the industrial construction sector, is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma or certificate in office administration program is considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Professional and service-oriented approach internally and externally.
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Self-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Detailed-oriented.
