Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant for a long-term, on-site contract role in Edmonton
. This position supports day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, AP/AR, and full-cycle accounting, in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume AP and AR transactions
  • Process payroll for unionized and non-unionized employees (biweekly)
  • Perform full-cycle accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Support cash management and financial record accuracy
  • Use Sage Intacct and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for reporting
  • Collaborate with and support team members, including training as needed
