We are seeking an Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accountant will provide support to the Corporate Accountant and Management, and will provide a variety of accounting and reporting activities, including but not limited to:
Maintain and update accounting files, records, entries
Reconcile bank statements
Analyze transactions for internal and external stakeholders
Month end and year end activities
Preparation of financial statements, Reports, T4s, Taxes
Time sheet verification, Payroll, HR, Benefits
Other related duties as required
Post Secondary Degree
Accounting professional designation
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent communications skills
Knowledge of Sage 50
Adaptable
5+ years work experience
Canadian Citizen.
Must reside in or near Edmonton, Alberta .
