Position Overview

We are seeking a Patient Concierge who is passionate about patient experience and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment. Our practice is home to a highly respected team of ophthalmic surgeons and optometric physicians, offering a broad range of medical and surgical eye care services. This role is ideal for someone who is patient‑focused, service‑oriented, and enjoys working closely with the senior community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors warmly, both in person and over the phone
  • Schedule routine, follow‑up, and specialty appointments as needed
  • Serve as a key point of contact, responding to patient and visitor inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff and communicating delays or updates
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem‑solving skills during challenging patient interactions
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Support a positive, efficient front‑office experience in a team‑based environment

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of general office experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Windows‑based systems
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow through on tasks in a fast‑paced environment
