Pay Range: $36.81 – $55.47 per hour

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist participates as a member of the perioperative nursing team and performs indirect perioperative tasks for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who are having surgical and surgical endoscopy procedures. The technician may also be assigned to transport patients, second assist, and serve as a technical expert for a surgical service.

• Perform indirect perioperative tasks under RN direction.

• Transport patients and assist with patient prep and recovery.

• Second assist and provide technical expertise to the surgical team.

• Assist with surgical instruments, equipment, and scene setup.

• Graduation from a surgical technology program, or equivalent education/experience.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration at hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association at hire.
• Prior experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care facility.

• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) at hire.
