Pet Medical Center of Edmond is looking for a compassionate full-time experienced veterinarian to join our small animal practice in Edmonds, OK. This position offers a six figure base salary, a generous sign-on bonus, paid parental leave, personalized 1:1 career coaching, and schedule flexibility. This role is Monday-Friday, no weekends!
About The PositionWe are seeking a full-time experienced veterinarian to join our two-doctor small animal practice in Edmond, Oklahoma. We are looking for a candidate that is a self-starter, has a positive and upbeat personality, and a passion for serving pets and people.

At Pet Medical Center of Edmonds, we provide preventative/geriatric care, soft tissue surgery, dental x-rays and procedures, ultrasound and in-house diagnostics. Our state-of-the-art facility includes three exam rooms and a designated surgical suite allowing us to provide pets with a high-quality level of care.

- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
- Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
- Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
