This role is 36 hours per week, 3x12s, on the day shift. The rate of $54 per hour is the rate for locals, or those living within 50 miles of Edmond, OK.

We’re looking for a compassionate Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to provide specialized behavioral health care for older adults experiencing psychiatric and cognitive conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor geriatric patients with mental health conditions such as dementia, depression, and anxiety
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses and side effects
• Develop and implement individualized behavioral health care plans
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and mental health support

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, geriatric, or long-term care nursing preferred
• Strong communication, observation, and crisis management skills
