Talent Manager
The Volunteer Systems Specialist for You Version is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the systems and processes related to volunteer onboarding, training, and resources. This role will work cross functionally with You Version Volunteer Managers(staff) and their teams to ensure there is alignment on centralized processes and tools for volunteers, initiate improvement and growth of volunteer management systems, and streamline team-wide volunteer data efforts.
This role will equip and resource the staff team through training and data reporting. This role supports the team’s direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.

What You'll Do- Partner with the Life.
Church Rock team to maintain and improve an effective volunteer management system. - Own and execute internal processes for onboarding and communicating with You Version Central volunteers.
- Expand the capability of the tools used to serve the team beyond onboarding volunteers.
- Manage the You Version volunteer website to ensure all content is relevant and up to date.
- Partner with the Life.
Church Risk team to ensure the background check process is in-line with the organization and is being executed properly. - Partner with the You Version Data team to create and maintain dashboards to measure KPIs related to volunteers and use learnings from data for reporting to leadership and to inform strategies for improvement of volunteer recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
- Conduct user experience audits during the volunteer onboarding process and share findings with the team.
- Execute and measure the success rate of volunteer recruitment campaigns.
- Partner with Volunteer Operations, Volunteer Managers, and Data team to build volunteer retention strategy.
- Collaborate with Volunteer Managers(staff) and the Volunteer Operations team to implement a unified volunteer leadership orientation process.
- Ensure volunteer training materials are accurate, high-quality, consistent, and up-to-date at all times.
- Develop a system for the intake and communication of internal stakeholders’ bug reporting, feature requests, and feedback for the enhancement of tools used to manage volunteers.
- Establish a process to align staff members on data and processes, and provide updates and staff training related to these areas.
- Collaborate with Volunteer Managers and the Volunteer Operations team to create a volunteer portal, bringing current volunteer sites and resources into a shared ecosystem.
- Partner with the Volunteer Operations team to help new volunteer teams get established, equipped with the right tools, build training, and other tasks related to launching a new team.
- Help teams identify needs and develop solutions through guidance and documentation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to foster relationships and partnerships.
- Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
- Maintain flexibility and initiate the creation of new processes and project strategies.
- Excellent at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems, identify underlying issues, and develop effective solutions in a dynamic work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of related work experience.
