**** Position Summary
** This position is responsible for the daily processing of incoming and outgoing mail for the agency and other state agency customers and uses state issued vehicles to cover three courier routes twice daily.
** Position Responsibilities
*** Picks up, sorts and delivers interagency mail daily
* Processes and meters USPS mail for state agency customers
* Performs print bindery duties including bulk mail processing, inserting and collating
* Operates delivery vehicle
** Education and Experience
** Requirements include:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid driving license with satisfactory driving record
* At least one (1) year of customer service and mail processing experience
** Valued Skills and Experience
** Working knowledge of O.S. Title 61 and International Building Code - 2009
** Physical Demands and Work Environment
** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move parcels and mail trays weighing up to 45 lbs. This position requires hand, finger dexterity, sitting, standing, bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
** Schedule
* * This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.
