Job DescriptionThe Person al Banker provides the best client experience possible for BOKF’s clients. They are empowered and responsible for delivering a superior experience on every interaction, building permanently engaged client relationships. Interactions include account activity inquiries, teller transactions, digital banking products, debit cards, and a variety of other products or processes. The Person al Banker handles client interactions efficiently and exceeds client expectations.
- Deliver exceptional client experience and build, expand, and retain long‑term relationships.
- Open a full range of retail products, including loan products, by making recommendations during routine banking and teller transactions.
- Educate clients about bank services such as online banking, Bill Pay, E‑Statements, and mobile/ATM deposit capabilities.
- Resolve simple to moderate client problems while ensuring the highest level of client experience and satisfaction.
- Perform teller transactions, processing checks, withdrawals, and balances within standards.
- Comply with internal control, audit, security, and compliance policies and procedures, and laws and regulations.
- Participate in professional development through training, self‑improvement initiatives, and skill‑building activities. Actively engage in coaching and feedback sessions to set goals and achieve results.
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1+ years of sales or customer service experience; a college degree is a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Working knowledge of consumer financial products and services.
- Experience in banking, retail sales operations and/or contact center operations (phone, email, chat support).
- Excellent verbal communication skills and courteous customer service handling.
- Strong written communication skills with professional etiquette and proper grammar.
- Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to follow established standards and use judgment to determine when to escalates.
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) for account reconciliation.
- PC proficiency: word processing, spreadsheets, and learning internal company systems.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with sales and client‑relations competencies.
- Detail oriented and highly accurate.
