Job Description

This is a regular student clerical position for the Center for eLearning and Connected Environments (CeCE). The student will perform computer and customer service–related duties in an office setting.

Hours per Week

20–25 hours per week.

College/Department Overview

The Center for eLearning and Connected Environments (CeCE) supports the design, development, and delivery of eLearning courses at the University of Central Oklahoma, providing high-quality, flexible, student‑centered learning opportunities.

Department Specific Job Functions

Typical duties include but are not limited to typing, filing, answering telephones, customer service, scheduling appointments, and Microsoft Office experience.

Enrollment Requirements
  • Fall/Spring Semesters:
    All student employees must be enrolled at least half‑time. Half‑time is considered 5 credit hours for graduate students and 6 for undergraduates. International students must be full‑time (9 hours for graduates, 12 for undergraduates).
  • Summer Semester:
    Must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours. If not enrolled in summer classes, must be enrolled in fall classes and will be required to pay FICA taxes. FWSP positions require a minimum of 6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 5 credit hours (graduate).
  • Enrollment Exception:
    If required credit hours to graduate are less than the minimum for employment, obtain a letter from the Academic Advisor stating the number of hours needed to graduate and anticipated graduation date and submit to Human Resources. Contact jobs for more information.
