OverviewOur CNAs are the heart of our facility. We have recently increased pay for the entire CNA team and are offering a $2,500 sign‑on bonus to new hires. Start your career with us at a highly competitive starting rate of $20.32 per hour, with additional increases based on experience.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care per the Patient Care Plan, including ROM exercises, ambulation, transfer training, feeding assistance, bed making, personal hygiene, skin checks, AM/HS care, vital signs, and call bell response.
- Identify and report all real or potential problems in patient care.
- Ensure residents use adaptive equipment as ordered.
- Maintain patient cleanliness, grooming, safety, and nourishment during assigned shift hours.
- Follow through on ordered restorative nursing for assigned patients.
- Complete all required tasks, documentation, and reports daily as per facility policy and state/federal regulations.
- Record intake and output and bowel movements.
- Report any unusual changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse promptly and communicate pertinent information to RN throughout the shift.
- Participate on committees as requested by supervisors.
- Identify patient needs and treatment opportunities, providing services to meet those needs on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain professional competence and keep current with Occupational Health trends through continuing education, in‑service programs, professional staff sessions, and training of nursing personnel.
- Foster good relationships and communication with all team members, patients, families, and visitors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Completion of an approved CNA program.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Current status on all Continuing Education (CE) requirements.
- Professional performance of clinical care.
- Serve as a patient advocate and role model to other team members.
- Deliver patient care in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
- Effective teamwork with a multidisciplinary team.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience in long‑term care and rehabilitation facilities.
- Previous work with geriatric and disabled populations.
- Bi‑lingual proficiency (Spanish).
- NJ CNA License.
Minimum hourly rate of $22.35. The posted rate reflects the minimum base pay in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act. Total rewards include health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
