Our client, a children’s soft accessories and hard goods brand located in Edison, NJ, is seeking a Production Coordinator to join the team. Having experience with home, stationary, cold weather is a plus
Responsibilities- Support the production process with overseas factories tracking product samples meet specifications
- Manage PO order entry and style set up
- Responsible for collaborating with factories following up on samples for production
- Follow up on WIP reports seasonal time/action calendars in order to achieve required delivery
- Track the progress of each style and provide updates utilizing WIP reports
- Daily communication with overseas factories confirming all production details, any product modifications ensuring specifications align.
- Follow up on product development packages sent to overseas factories for sampling and approvals
- Responsible for packaging guidelines and style set up and order management
- Assist with Quality Assurance, Design ensuring quality standards for on time delivery
- 3 plus years in production in a wholesale apparel environment with Children’s Accessories
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, PLM
- Must have costing experience
- Fast paced, high energy, and multi-tasking capabilities
