Maintenance Engineer​/Supervisor

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

• Perform all standard maintenance duties while assuming advanced responsibility for complex equipment, processes, and decision‑making.
• Diagnose equipment failures, determine whether to stop production or continue operation, and execute immediate repairs or defer work to planned downtime.
• Make decisions regarding equipment modifications, part substitutions, and use of outside service providers when required.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control‑related issues across all process equipment.
• Possess working knowledge of PLC hardware, field I/O, and control systems, including basic ladder logic interpretation and safe replacement of failed components.
• Understand all normal process operations and identify root causes of failures based on symptoms and process flow.
• Provide training, guidance, and technical support to lower‑level maintenance personnel and assist with skill development.
• Prioritize labor and resources during multiple concurrent issues, escalates appropriately, and work with Engineering or management as needed.

• MMI CTC knowledge.
• Proficiency in multiple skilled trades (minimum of three), such as mechanical, electrical, welding, plumbing, or machine tool work.
• Familiarity with industrial control devices (e.g., temperature controllers, burner controls, programmable devices) and ability to read and apply technical manuals for repair and replacement.
