The production packer position ensures accuracy of product packing and communicates with team members to maintain efficient operations.

• Pack retail bags into master cases.
• Ensure quality and integrity of packages (codes, seal quality, label application, weight, accuracy).
• Maintain accurate case configuration (number of bags per case).
• Load the hopper with raw products to start production.
• Stack pallets as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the area.
• Notify machine operators, supervisors, or QA/QC technicians of any quality issues.
• Adhere to GMP and Food Safety standards.
• Assist with related tasks during packaging operations as assigned by Supervisor.
• Operate in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Production/operations preferred (not required).
• System implementation preferred.
• Understanding of safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of applicable production management systems.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Ability to operate powered equipment.
• Dependable, responsible team player.
• Understanding of procedures in other production areas for a global perspective.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, etc.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
