Hospitality Representative (Housekeeping) – Full Time – Evening

This is a routine manual labor position associated with the daily cleaning of the medical center. Typical duties include cleaning restrooms, removing trash, dusting, damp wiping, spot cleaning, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors and glass, making beds, polishing furniture and metal, and replenishing paper, soap, and plastic supplies.

• Ancillary Areas:
  Daily cleaning of one or more areas such as office space, waiting areas, and/or outside buildings. In high‑volume areas (particularly bathrooms and the emergency room), cleaning is required two to three times daily.
• Daily Room Cleaning and Discharge Room Cleaning:
  Perform daily cleaning of discharge rooms following a 10‑step cleaning process; respond immediately to page requests for discharge cleaning. Terminal cleaning is required in rooms for patients who had precautions.
• Floor Care Tech:
  Dust‑mop and sweep floors; vacuum and bonnet carpet; strip and refinish floors.
• Scripting, EPIC System, and Communication:
  Respond to the EPIC system to receive tasks; use phone to update status to indicate task progress.
• Trash Removal:
  Remove, cover, and wash all trash containers as designated by the Team Leader.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adhere to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

• Training and experience from cleaning schools or similar manual‑labor background; willingness and experience to perform exceptional work.
• High school diploma, GED preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma/GED.

Minimum hourly rate: $17.25. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate is a reasonable estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act.
