Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
Seeking a reliable individual who enjoys working in a team environment to join our team as a Hotel Engineer. The Maintains the physical functionality and safety of the hotel including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public areas and employee areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non functioning machinery and/or equipment.
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, masonry, etc.
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
- Shifts would be 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm daily.
- Availability to work holidays and weekends are a must.
- Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong understanding of the technologies used and required.
- React quickly in emergency situations, making sound decisions.
- Flexible availability.
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Able to operate heavy machinery.
- Licenses are a plus.
Education: Degree a plus. Combination of vocational education, apprenticeship, in‑plant training, or on‑the‑job training required.
Experience: Previous hotel engineering experience a plus.
NoticeFriend well Managed Hotels function twenty‑four (24) hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. As a part of the hospitality industry a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times. All employees are required to project a friendly, welcoming, and positive attitude.
