• Conduct specialist Risk Assessment surveys to identify potential hazards and risk factors at client locations
• Document findings and provide recommendations to Account Executives and clients
• Consult with clients to develop flexible solutions for hazard control and loss mitigation
• Serve as a technical resource for Risk Control Consultants and Underwriters
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory environments and emerging issues in the technical specialist discipline

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in fire science, a technical science, an engineering discipline, or property fire protection
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to attain appropriate certification to meet state-specific requirements where applicable
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to make complex technical information understandable to varied audiences

• 8 or more years of Property/Highly Protected Risk (HPR) experience
• Exceptional technical and interpersonal skills
• Experience in technical training
• Understanding of insurance products, services, and risk selection practices
• Familiarity with relevant Risk Control computer system applications
