SAP Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP MM Procurement Project Manager to drive procurement transformation within a complex retail environment. This role will lead the design and delivery of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions across SAP S/4

HANA, with a strong focus on retail supply chain processes.

• Lead SAP MM implementations focused on retail procurement, inventory, and supply chain
• Define S/4
  
  HANA P2P architecture, roadmap, and solution design
• Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and end-to-end process design
• Facilitate cross-functional architecture discussions across business and IT stakeholders
• Design and configure procurement processes including requisitions, purchase orders, inventory management, vendor evaluation, and invoice verification
• Lead Accounts Payable optimization (three-way match, exception handling, payment processing)
• Oversee integrations with WMS, EDI, legacy, and third-party systems
• Partner with Finance to streamline workflows and improve vendor payment cycles
• Oversee article, vendor, and purchasing master data governance
• Support retail-specific capabilities including pricing, listing, promotions, and replenishment
• Ensure alignment with SAP IS-Retail objects and processes
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements and integrations
• Support testing, training, and change management activities

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Systems, or related field
• 10+ years of SAP MM experience, including 3+ years in retail
• Proven leadership experience on SAP implementations
• Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and retail supply chain processes
• Strong integration experience across WMS, EDI, SD/Order-to-Cash, Inventory, and Accounts Payable
• Hands-on experience with SAP IS-Retail (Article Master, Site Master, Listing, Pricing)
• Experience with BAPI, IDocs, APIs, Fiori, and S/4
  
  HANA integrations (including legacy/mainframe systems)
• Exposure to Ariba modules (Sourcing, Buying, Contracts, Supplier Management) preferred
• Familiarity with SAP BTP and AI-enabled process automation
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
