We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled AL Programmer to join our on-site team in Edison, NJ. This role is ideal for a professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central who enjoys building scalable, efficient ERP solutions that directly support business operations. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom extensions while collaborating closely with both technical and business stakeholders.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable system functionality. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment where your contributions will have a direct and measurable impact.

• Develop, customize, and maintain Business Central extensions using the AL programming language
• Design and implement scalable solutions aligned with business needs and best practices
• Collaborate with internal business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored ERP functionality
• Customize existing Business Central modules and develop new modules as needed
• Debug, test, and deploy code to production environments while ensuring system stability and performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation for custom solutions and processes
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for Business Central applications
• Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and enhancement projects
• Coordinate with and provide guidance to offshore development resources when required

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing in AL for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, extension model, and best practices
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, AL Language Extension, and Git version control
• Experience working with APIs, web services, and event-driven programming
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• Experience with Business Central upgrades and migrations
• Background in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environments
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure Dev Ops, or Power BI
• Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV
