Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts. Our client, McKinsol Consulting Inc, is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Architect to lead migration projects onsite in New Jersey.

• Data Migration Planning & Strategy – Define strategy, scope, and approach aligned with project timelines; identify data objects and; collaborate with functional and technical teams.
• Data Extraction, Transformation & Load (ETL) – Extract data from legacy systems (SAP and non‑SAP); cleanse, transform, and validate data to meet SAP standards; develop and execute data load programs using SAP tools and custom programs.
• SAP Tools & Technologies – Use SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and/or ABAP programs; work with IDocs, BAPIs, and APIs; support migration to SAP S/4
  
  HANA using Migration Cockpit or Fiori apps.
• Data Validation & Reconciliation – Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems; execute mock loads, test cycles, and final cutover migrations; identify and resolve data errors and inconsistencies.
• Collaboration & Support – Work closely with functional consultants (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.); coordinate with business users for data validation and sign‑off; support cutover planning and go‑live activities.
• Documentation & Governance – Create and maintain data migration documentation (mapping, rules, procedures); ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements; provide knowledge transfer and post‑go‑live support.

• Strong experience in SAP data migration for ECC and/or S/4
  
  HANA.
• Proficiency in SAP migration tools (LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit, LTMC).
• ABAP debugging and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of SAP data models and table structures.
• Understanding of SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, or HCM.
• Experience with master data and transactional data migration.
• Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in cross‑functional teams.

• SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation or conversion experience.
• Experience in greenfield, brownfield, or carve‑out projects.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality tools.
• SAP certification in relevant modules or data services.
