Our client seeking an experienced Manager of Business Development to spearhead our expansion within the medical device engineering service industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in medical device markets or related healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic growth plans to expand our presence in the medical device industry.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through building and nurturing relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Maintain and grow a robust network of medical device contacts to facilitate partnerships and business opportunities.
- Lead the sales team in creating and executing strategies that consistently surpass revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure top-quality service delivery to clients within the medical device space.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to stay ahead of developments in the medical device field.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Oversee sales performance and provide detailed reports and actionable insights to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in sales and business development, particularly within the medical device industry or healthcare-related engineering service sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the medical device industry, market dynamics, and key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and motivating a sales team.
- Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events as necessary.
