Overview
HR Admin/Generalist –
Position Overview:
Provides operational support to the Human Resources Department and maintains HR documentation, employee data, standard preboarding/offboarding communications, administration, invoice processing, Sensitive Tier 1 HR support, and ad-hoc departmental projects and assignments. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, passionate about the employee experience, and understand employment laws and regulations related to their duties.
- HR Administration & Data – onboarding, documentation, data management, and related tasks
- Responsible for all employee data, files, and records, including updating new hire and job change information
- Create new accounts, monitor outputs of integrations, and manage access permissions for HR systems
- Ensure colleague communication throughout the employee life cycle (preboarding, onboarding, promotion, merit, offboarding, etc.) follows company, state, and federal standards
- Process and reconcile HR invoices and ensure proper filing
- Respond to Tier 1 HR inquiries and monitor the HR inbox and physical mail
- Maintain process documentation with a focus on continuous process improvement
- Ensure compliance with all data protection regulations
- Export regular and ad hoc reports from internal databases (e.g., headcount and I-9 compliance reports)
- Assists HR Department with research projects and/or special projects and performs other duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3–5 years of prior HR experience
- Well-versed in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attentive to details and deadlines
- Curious mindset with willingness to learn
- Proven teamwork capabilities
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, benefits for this temporary role may include:
