Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician Position at Same Day Surgery Center of Central Jersey

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knows operating room instrumentation
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items required
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills with staff, patients and physicians

$25.00/hr–$34.00/hr (wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
