Purpose:
The Staffing Coordinator develops and maintains the schedules of the Home Health Aides and Continuous Care nurses in accordance with census and patient need. The person in this position will also coordinate overall activity and initiate counseling when appropriate.
Purpose:
The Durable Medical Equipment Coordinator is responsible for the ordering of durable medical equipment and always maintaining a ready supply.
- Place Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Orders and Pickups.
- Place soft goods orders for patients and maintain spreadsheets.
- Enter notes with patient equipment and supplies ordered in HCHB.
- Send weekly Medline supply spreadsheets for ordering supplies.
- Get supplies for nurses as requested.
- Order supplies and maintains the Medical Supply Closet.
- Make up nursing bags for all new nurses. Provide with supplies and DME Guidelines.
- Coordinate with nurses when patients discharge and need equipment
- Enter patient information and equipment needed in Parachute.
- Coordinate swap of equipment between old DME and new DME companies.
- Communicates with nursing staff regarding Missing Equipment as directed by our contracted DME Vendor(s).
- Adhere to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and the organization.
- Ensure that Grace Healthcare Service's best practices are incorporated into all job activities/responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- One year's prior work experience preferred.
- Computer literate
- Able to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
