Fourth Grade Teaching Position, School Year
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced, dynamic, and resourceful fourth-grade teacher in the Lower School Division. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of pedagogy and instructional practices in lower school education and enthusiasm for connecting learning to real-life application. We seek an energetic and progressive educator eager to collaborate across multiple grade levels. The expectations are that the candidate will participate fully in the life of The Wardlaw+Hartridge School.

Minimum Qualifications- All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the school’s vision, mission, and core values of Integrity, Opportunity, Support, Diversity, Community, and Sustainability.
- Demonstrated success crafting curricula with a global perspective and framework is desired.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum two years teaching experience required. A concentration in Elementary Education and Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction and Singapore Mathematical practices is beneficial, but not required.
Salary Range: 60 - 75k
