- Deliver state‑of‑the‑art instruction on indoor skydiving maneuvers, ensuring participants master body positioning, safety protocols, and control techniques.
- Engage participants with enthusiasm, professionalism, and passion for flight, making each flight an exhilarating journey.
- Maintain safety standards and enforce all safety protocols.
- Conduct pre‑flight safety instructions, explain flight techniques, answer questions, and calm pre‑flight nerves.
- Offer constructive feedback post‑flight, boosting participant confidence and skills.
- Collaborate seamlessly with fellow instructors and staff to promote a cohesive, supportive team environment.
- Stay updated on the latest training tools and techniques to continually enhance instructional skills.
- Drive add‑on sales by introducing guests to options that enhance their flight (additional flight time, high flights, return visits, or media packages).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be in excellent physical condition; the role is physically demanding for long periods.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Background or interest in coaching, teaching, and facilitating activity‑based or entertainment‑oriented roles.
- High energy, positive attitude, and passion for people.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Commitment to continuous improvement through training, learning, and feedback.

- Ability to work well within a team and maintain positive relationships.
Candidates will be assessed on agility, stamina, and strength via a Post‑Offer Employment Test (POET) prior to training. POET simulates the movements and actions typical for a day at iFLY, and is administered nondiscriminatorily.
Training ProgramOnboarding includes a 4–5‑month Flight Instructor Training Program with extensive hands‑on training. Relocation to a different location and/or state may be required during the training period; financial support will be provided.
During the Training Program, iFLY guarantees a minimum hourly rate of $22.00.
