Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD & Product Designer with a focus on home goods, located in Edison, NJ. The role involves creating technical drawings, designing home products using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and developing detailed construction drawings. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring product concepts to fruition, ensuring designs meet quality standards, and staying informed about current market trends and design innovations.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Technical Drawing, Drawing, and creating Construction Drawings
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Design Engineering
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to design
- Experience in the home goods industry or related fields is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to feedback
