Customer Service Representative

OEC is a leading manufacturer of electrical connectors and fittings, serving the commercial & industrial, renewables, and utility markets across North America. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Edison, NJ.

This role is critical to supporting our sales team and customers by ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently while delivering a high level of service.

• Process and manage customer orders from entry through shipment
• Communicate with customers, sales teams, and end users regarding order status, pricing support, product availability, and technical queries
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely fulfilment
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and issue resolution professionally and promptly
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems such as SAP & Salesforce
• Support inside sales and territory managers with administrative tasks
• Assist with freight quotes, tracking, and logistics coordination

• 2+ years of customer service or inside sales experience (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
• Strong communication skills (phone and email)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with SAP & Salesforce systems is a plus
