Client OverviewOur client is a rapidly growing and long‑standing organization looking to add a Senior Accountant
. This company seeks an experienced professional who can work effectively in a team as well as independently.
$35/hr – $40/hr
Position OverviewSenior Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Looking for 3‑5 years’ experience with month‑end close, accruals, fixed assets, etc. The ideal candidate should be hard‑working and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with Value Added Tax (VAT) is an absolute must‑have.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant- Prepare financial analyses and reports.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Perform input, maintenance, and review of fixed assets.
- Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast on a weekly, monthly, and year‑end basis.
- Experience with month‑end closing, journal entries, and working on the general ledger.
- Must have experience with International Value Added Tax (VAT).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- ERP systems experience.
- Leadership, communication, and financial analysis on an accounting team are all big pluses.
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or a related field is required.
