Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant in the Middlesex County, NJ area. In this role you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, calculate tax projections, resolve tax notices, and more. If you have 2+ years of experience as a Tax Preparer, this might be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and input tax returns with precision and efficiency.

- Prepare detailed tax documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.

- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries.

- Identify potential tax-saving opportunities for individuals and businesses.

- Ensure all documentation is properly filed and maintained for audit purposes.

- Assist with resolving tax-related issues and discrepancies as they arise.

- Utilize tax software to calculate accurate tax projections.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Accountant.

- Proficiency in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

- Strong knowledge of handling tax extensions and related processes.

- Familiarity with Tax Software.

- Solid understanding of current tax laws and regulations.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.

- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and partners.
