HGV Class 2 Driver

Simple Recruitment has a great opportunity for candidates to join our client based in Keynsham as HGV Class 2 Driver. This is an immediate start position on a temporary ongoing basis.

Monday to Thursday 7am - 3.30pm and Friday 7am - 3pm.

Holiday Accrual

• To drive the 7.5T Recycling lorries within the local area
• Collecting domestic recycling boxes from domestic properties
• Emptying of recycling into the correct receptacle.
• Providing a service to the public, by returning the boxes safely to properties
• Working closely as part of a team.
• Following instructions and adhering to health and safety requirements.

The role requires candidates to hold a full driving/CPC licence and Taco Card as you will be driving set routes across the B&NES area. The role does not require previous experience as full training & H&S Induction will be provided; however, the right candidate will be physically fit as lifting and bending is an essential part of the role.

In order to deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties, however, should not normally exceed those expected of an employee at that grade.
