We have a fantastic opportunity for Logistics Driver to join the team at our Central Production Kitchen in Leith, Edinburgh.

As part of our fabulous back of house team, you will be organised, communicate positively with the whole team, and take pride supporting the Distribution and Logistics functions between various sites with food, drinks, and equipment deliveries & collections, carrying and removing items from van to site and back. Always ensuring full compliance of Health & Safety, assisting to clean and maintain kitchen equipment and BOH areas.

You will assist where necessary with the ordering of all sundries, disposables and drink on a weekly basis and make sure all events are suitably catered for whilst correctly processing all internal order sheets so that transfers are accurately recorded.

• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate great teamwork.
• To assist with deliveries of goods ensuring the proper storage/disposal of all food/drink waste products.
• Reasonable level of computer literacy (Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would be an advantage.)
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and able to work under pressure to balance conflicting deadlines.
• Full UK driving license, over 25 for insurance purposes.

Essential

• Full UK driving license, with two years of driving history and over 25 for insurance purposes
• Have excellent levels of personal hygiene and presentation standards.
• Be consistently and punctual.
• Positive attitude, being friendly yet professional.
• A team player with an ability to work in a busy environment.

Desirable

• Demonstrable experience in high-volume catering environment
• First aid and food safety qualifications
• High degree of dependability and self-reliance

• 30 hours per week, additional hours depending on business needs
• Pay Rate - £13 Per hour
• Full UK or EU Driving License required
