Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager

This is a senior role within a well-established financial services environment where risk, capital and regulatory reporting sit at the heart of decision‑making. You’ll play a key part in shaping impairment and capital strategy, turning complex data into insight that influences real business outcomes.

• Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

• Leading forecasting and stress testing activity to support internal planning and regulatory submissions
• Ensuring impairment adequacy across planning and stress scenarios, with strong governance and control
• Driving initiatives to optimise capital and impairment performance across portfolios
• Analysing complex risk data to identify drivers of impairment and Risk‑Weighted Assets
• Translating business questions into structured, data‑led investigations and clear recommendations
• Producing short‑term forecasts and tracking performance against actuals to enhance decision‑making
• Presenting insights to senior stakeholders, tailoring messaging for both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Supporting integration and collaboration across wider risk measurement teams
• Managing multiple priorities and delivering high‑quality outputs within agreed timelines

• Strong experience in stress testing and RWA calculations
• Solid understanding of impairment and capital frameworks within a regulated banking environment
• Advanced analytical capability, including problem structuring and hypothesis‑driven analysis
• Hands‑on experience with data tools such as SAS, SQL, Python or similar
• Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage projects and prioritise effectively across competing demands
