Staff Engineer - Cloud Engineering n our engineering team to help shape how millions of people experience Trustpilot.

We are a growing FTSE-250 company with a global engineering team. You will work with engineers across our global department to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based platforms.

• Work within the Cloud Engineering team to make Trustpilot’s clouds safer, more secure, stable, scalable, and more cost-effective.
• Collaborate with the staff engineering cohort to agree on technical approaches to platform-wide problems.
• Bring product delivery teams together with the Cloud Engineering team to create cohesive, achievable plans aligned with company goals, milestones, and user experience standards.
• Develop, implement, and share strategies to ensure the quality, production readiness, scalability, and ongoing health of apps and systems.
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rota to support the Trustpilot platform.
• Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of projects, communicating issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and the staff engineering cohort to recruit, develop, and support qualified professionals.
• Regularly impart knowledge and mentor others in technologies, standards, and best practices.
• Cultivate a collaborative environment, listening to and integrating diverse perspectives to reach shared goals.

• Several years of experience in Software Engineering at a Senior, Principal, or Staff Engineer level.
• Extensive experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS) and components such as Cloud Front, WAF, API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, SNS, SQS.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Type Script-based full-stack service/microservice development (e.g., Node.js).
• Experience with modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience delivering scalable systems that solve complex technical challenges at scale.
• Extensive stakeholder management experience across multiple functions/domains and ability to create alignment across diverse teams.
• Experience mentoring and helping other engineers grow their technical skills.
• Commitment to contribute to the future of Trustpilot and the ability to make crucial technical decisions pragmatically.
• Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset with a bias towards action.
• Ability to communicate complex problems clearly to a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Exposure to or experience with app development (iOS, Android, cross-platform frameworks).
