PlayTalkRead Play Practitioner

We are looking for a fun and dynamic person to join our Play Team to travel around Scotland in our bespoke vehicles to deliver play sessions for families with children under 5 years old.

Location:

Edinburgh office base with regular travel across Scotland

Hours:

Full Time (35 hours per week including occasional weekends).

Salary: £25,646 (large vehicle fleet driver training must be completed within probationary period) or £24,646 (must have access to own car and be confident to drive fleet vans but not larger vehicles)

Fixed Term: to 31.03.2027

As a key member of the play team you will travel to locations across Scotland, working away from home as an integral part of the role and offering a great opportunity to see Scotland while making a difference. Your role includes inspiring and encouraging parents and carers to interact with their babies and little ones through fun, simple and inexpensive activities.

You will use playing, talking and reading together as tools to support early speech, language and communication.
