Static Electrical Engineer

Role:
Static Maintenance Electrician

Location: Edinburgh

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.
• Diagnose faults and complete remedial works to minimise downtime and maintain site operations.
• Ensure compliance with UK electrical standards and regulations, including BS 7671.
• Work collaboratively with the wider static engineering team, site management, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records, job sheets, and compliance documentation.
• Respond to urgent issues and support business‑critical electrical systems.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification.
• Experience with in commercial or facilities management environments.
• Strong understanding of UK compliance, H&S procedures, and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to work independently on a static site.
