Edinburgh (Mobile Role)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join a busy and growing maintenance company operating across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. This is a mobile role, carrying out a mix of reactive and planned electrical maintenance, void property works, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position, starting on a 12-week temporary contract with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

• Carry out reactive electrical repairs in domestic and light commercial properties
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks
• Undertake full and partial rewires in void properties
• Conduct EICRs and remedial works in line with current regulations
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with current wiring regulations
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation

• Fully qualified Electrician (SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience completing EICRs
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Own transport preferred due to the mobile nature of the role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Competitive hourly rate (paid weekly during temp period)
