Summer Landscaping Operative

WORKING HOURS:

7.5 hours per day,40per week

Working as a Summer Landscaping Operative at Fort Kinnairdbetween April - September youwill be working alongside a team of Landscaping Operatives to ensure that all landscaped areas are well maintained, orderly and kept looking good.

You willbe responsible for proactively managing your work and giving priority to tasks/ areas that require immediate attention.

The ideal candidate will be able todemonstratea good working knowledge of basic landscaping/ gardening tasks and willing to learn on the job.

• Maintaining all landscaped areas; planters, lawns,hedgerowsetc.

• Ensuring that all planters and landscaped areas arewellmaintainedthrough selective pruning, watering,weeding,feedapplicationetc.

• Assistfellow Landscaping Operatives as and whenrequiredto complete larger jobs.

• Ability to proactively plan and prioritize workload.

• Keen eye for detail.

• Good working knowledge of plants and basic landscaping tasks.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
