We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to carry out internal and external painting and decorating, preparation works to walls and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting. You may be required to erect access equipment with appropriate training and all necessary access plant and temporary screening to protect the environment and people. You will monitor decorating material stock and request new stock as required, ensuring all works are carried out within the approved budget and that painting and decorating equipment is utilised efficiently and kept clean.

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating work and prepare walls and surfaces prior to decorating/painting.
• Erect access equipment as required and use appropriate access plant and temporary screening to protect people and the environment.
• Monitor stock of decorating materials and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure all works are completed within the approved budget and that equipment is kept clean and reusable.

• Recognised qualification in painting and decorating or a minimum of 5 years of checkable experience; apprenticeship preferred.
• Organisation, self-motivation, good communication and customer service skills.
• Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
