Our new in‑house Nature and Biodiversity team will play a critical role in achieving that vision.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
- Support on a range of ecological projects, and manage aspects of projects across sectors such as infrastructure, residential, commercial, and renewable energy.
- Plan and support ecological surveys, and contribute to reports and assessments (e.g., PEA, UKHab, protected species, EcIA, BNG Metrics, HMMPs, LEMPs).
- Provide ecological input into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning applications.
- Support the production of BNG assessments using the Statutory Defra metric.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of bespoke BNG strategies across development projects, including onsite green infrastructure and off‑site BNG solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant wildlife legislation and planning policy.
- Support client relationship development and secure repeat and referral work.
- Contribute to fee proposals and multidisciplinary tenders.
- Input into project planning, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
- A relevant degree in ecology or a related environmental discipline.
- At least 2+ years of professional experience in the ecological sector.
- Qualifying membership of CIEEM (or eligibility) and working towards Associate membership.
- Knowledge of UK ecology, legislation, and the planning system.
- Experience in Biodiversity Net Gain and using the Statutory Biodiversity Metric.
- Proven track record of supporting or delivering ecological projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working towards protected species licences (e.g., Bats, Great Crested Newt, Hazel Dormouse).
