£50,000 – £70,000 base salary + generous bonuses

THE ROLEThis BDM will drive growth opportunities for Stretch Sense within the Extended Reality (XR) sector. This will be a hunter gatherer type sales role but the ideal candidate will be adept at employing a solutions-driven, consultative type of selling.
You would be identifying, qualifying, & developing business opportunities, leading the acquisition of new customers, forming & managing effective relationships amongst clients & other key strategic partners.
You’ll also analyse market trends & collaborate with senior leadership and multi-disciplined teams to align sales strategies with go-to-market plans and harness relationships with key players in the industry; ultimately putting Stretch Sense at the forefront of the XR industry.
THE PERSONThis is a key position within Stretch Sense, operating at a senior level with the opportunity to drive the next evolution of the business. What would the successful candidate look like?
- Demonstrable experience within a business development, strategic partnerships, or client management role within the technology space is a must have
- Any knowledge of AR, VR and XR will be highly beneficial (even better with specific knowledge of the Enterprise XR Training space).
- History selling to HE / FE clients within education sector or enterprise training also highly beneficial
- Any candidate who has worked with immersive technology in higher / further education would stand a great chance.
- A salesperson who can effectively pitch & explain complex technology & processes in plain, simple language
- Analytical & market research skills to identify sales opportunities
- A deep-seated, consistent drive to perform within a sales environment; & ability to roll with the punches of a commercial role.
- You’ll have a passion for technology and be excited about the potential of pushing the envelope of human interaction with virtual environments.
- A degree within technology, business, or marketing sectors is advantageous.
The role will be based in Stretch Sense’s Edinburgh offices, with the opportunity to work on a remote/hybrid basis within the UK.
