Buck & Birch is an independent Scottish producer of premium spirits and liqueurs, inspired by the landscape and flavours of the wild. We’re growing fast and are now looking for an experienced Sales Executive to help drive distribution and sales across Scotland.
This is a role for someone who can hit the ground running
. You’ll already have strong relationships in the trade, a proven FMCG sales track record, and the confidence to open doors and close deals.
- Grow sales across on-trade, off-trade and retail accounts
- Actively prospect and win new business using your existing network and research skills
- Prospect across multiple channels: on-trade, off-trade, independent retail, hotels and event spaces
- Manage and grow existing accounts, building long‑term partnerships, working with your customers on promotion activity, sampling and marketing plans
- Focus primarily on Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Central Belt
, with wider coverage across Scotland - Represent Buck & Birch in market with energy, credibility and brand passion, attending our B2B and D2C sales and pitch events
- Work closely with the MD to help shape our route‑to‑market as we scale
- Autonomy over targets, pricing and support/promo activity
- Attend events with the team (both B2B & D2C)
- Proven field sales experience within FMCG, ideally alcohol
- Strong knowledge of the Scottish on-trade, off-trade and retail landscape
- A self‑motivated and energetic person who is organised, driven and commercially sharp
- Confident negotiator with a consistent history of delivering strong sales results
- Full UK driving licence and own car essential
- £30,000 basic salary (FTE)
- Commission and bonus potential of up to £30,000 for strong performers
