Do you have a creative flair and a passion for eBay?
We’re looking for volunteers to help identify items for sale online, take photographs and upload them to eBay for sale.
Ideal Volunteer- Interest in charity retail

- Researcher
:
Find items to be researched using eBay/Google Lens etc. Decide if they are worth listing on eBay or if they should be sold in the shop/Donation Centre. - Information gathering
:
Collate item information such as title, description, measurements etc. Log in the book or relevant system. - Photography
:
Take photos of items. Equipment will be supplied. - Lister
:
Input photos and information into the eBay software. Full training will be provided. - Packer/Dispatcher
:
Wrap and pack items, apply shipping labels and provide excellent customer service. - Train and develop skills in a retail environment that can assist with future job searches.
- Develop new skills and utilize existing ones.
- Be part of a shop team and make new friends.
- Build confidence.
- Receive support from divisional Salvation Army colleagues in times of need.
- Give skills training and experience of working within a retail environment that could assist with future job searches.

This role is unpaid, but reasonable travel expenses will be paid in line with the volunteer expense policy along with a 25% discount on all purchases.
The time commitment for this role is flexible and will be agreed in advance with the charity shop manager. If you have any available hours to spare, please apply now as we would love to talk to you.
