We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Front of House Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant in Mortonhall Garden Centre.

Competitive pay range: £10 to £12.25 per hour, dependent on age.

Hours:

30 per week over 5 days, including weekend work.

As a Front of House Assistant, you will provide excellent customer service, take orders, and serve our fantastic food and drinks.

• Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to company standards.
• Present menus, serve, and help customers choose food and beverage by offering suggestions.
• Provide counter service and prepare beverages.
• Deliver chef-prepared meals to customers at their tables.
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness.
• Process payment at electronic till points.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Close front of house areas each day to company standards.
• May be required to assist with back of house duties.

• Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
• Barista experience preferred but not essential; full training will be given.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
