We’re working with a well-established construction business operating across Central East Scotland, who are looking to appoint a Regional Quality Control Manager to support their project teams and help drive consistent, high standards of workmanship across the region.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operational teams to make sure quality processes are properly embedded, practical, and genuinely adding value. The business is committed to getting it right the first time, reducing defects, improving productivity, and ensuring projects are handed over to clients to a high standard.

Encouraging effective use of digital field and document management tools to support inspections and reporting
Reviewing quality data and reports to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement
Providing clear, practical feedback to site teams on higher-risk work packages
Assisting with Inspection and Test Plans for complex or high-risk elements of work
Investigating significant non-conformances, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
Carrying out second-party audits of subcontractors and suppliers where required
Contributing to monthly and quarterly reporting on quality performance
Supporting lessons learned sessions and sharing best practices across projects
This is a regional role and will involve regular travel to sites across Central East Scotland.
About You
You’ll likely come from a construction background, whether trade, technical, or degree-qualified, and have a strong understanding of how projects are delivered on site.
You’ll be confident working with operational teams, able to challenge constructively, and comfortable analysing information to support better decision-making.
We’re looking for someone with:

Valid CSCS card
Full UK driving licence
Experience working with quality assurance processes on construction projects
Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems and reports
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels
A practical, solutions-focused approach
Good attention to detail
Experience across multiple trades, previous supervisory experience, or involvement in audits and supplier reviews would be beneficial, but is not essential.
